RRMA obligation begins on receipt of funds and continues for life of bond-funded improvements

The RRMA obligation begins when SFP funds are received and continues for the life of the bond-funded improvements unless statute provides otherwise.

SFP-funded districts must establish an RRMA and deposit at least 3% of general fund expenditures

Districts receiving SFP funds must establish a Routine Restricted Maintenance Account and deposit generally at least 3% of general fund expenditures annually (Ed. Code § 17070.75).
